“It’s a small role, which I was very happy to play,” Hale said. “I’m at the beginning of the movie. They literally made me sign stuff that I couldn’t say much about it but it’s very exciting. It was very exciting for me to be a part of it and meet Wes Craven who’s an absolute sweetheart. I didn’t know what to expect but it was fun.”

“I know,” Hale said. “To be a part that has a cult following, to look back at Drew Barrymore’s opening scene and be like I’m a part of this. This is unreal. It’s really cool.”

“It was totally last minute. I got the call, and they were like, ‘They totally want you to be a part of this movie,’ and I was like, ‘Absolutely. I will do any part.’ I was actually originally supposed to do another part and would come back for Scream 5, but it didn’t work with the schedule. So I did a few scenes.”

“If they would have me I would absolutely be there because I know that they’re planning on doing a few more movies. I don’t know if I’ll be a part of them, but that would be awesome.”

“I’m a huge horror movie fan, but just like my generation Scream was a big deal. We grew up with it. I’m just a huge horror movie fan in general though.”

Undoubtedly, Lucy Hale is the actress who does not hesitate when she talks about her character. Do not misunderstand us, Hale maintains the secrecy, but she is providing small clues about her involvement. Now it seems she might be the next Drew Barrymore. Lucy, please prepare us good popcorn.

It´s very interesting that Hale was considered for another role in Scream 4. A role that could be recovered also in Scream 5. Anyway, we have no doubt that her cameo will be a bloody surprise, either in the opening scene, or even accompanied by Shenae Grimes.
